BETTER NOT TELL YOU NOW - PUBLIC ART OPENING

Millican-Ogden has some super unique and interesting new public art around the community.

On November 4th at 1pm, stop by the SE Calgary Community Resource Centre to celebrate the opening of ’Better Not Tell You Now’ - an ambitious multi-part project comprised of interactive Magic 8 Ball sculptures and numerous signs on street poles throughout the community, each sharing phrases and messages that capture community members sentiments about the neighbourhood’s past, present, and future.

The event will feature a talk by artist Cassie Suche and include refreshments, an Elder blessing, and a brief walking tour to see the art installation around the Resource Centre.

Marketing, branding and communications are my passion. They are also my job, which makes for a pretty interesting work week. I get energized by seeing the potential in a company, a project or marketing initiative and live for the moment when I can see my work executed and really making a difference. I have a creative heart and a strategic brain.
